First cold pressed virgin oils

Virgin oil results from mechanically cold pressing oilseeds and nuts just once, hence its full name: "first cold pressed virgin oil". This process allows for all the nutrients to be preserved, thus ensuring intense flavour and colour.
Some nuts need to be heated to 80°C maximum, to draw out their subtle and unique taste, before being cold pressed.
Virgin oil is then clarified using physical and mechanical techniques (decanting and filtering).

If all these features are printed on the label, you are holding an excellent oil in your hands!
